Snowshoeing: Post-Holiday Party 2010-2011!!!

The holiday planning committee has come up with a wonderful day and night to celebrate, a little late, the holiday season. We are planning a snowshoeing extravaganza at Mount Seymour followed by a few tasty beers or other bevvies of your choice at a to be determined pub on Saturday, January 8, 2011. The plan is to leave for the mountain around 3PM, snowshoe from 4-6ish and then to the pub [Edit: we might leave earlier, like at 1pm, snowshoe from 2-4 or 4:30 to catch the beautiful sunset, and then head to the pub]! The AGSA will subsidize the cost of snowshoeing, you should expect to pay about $10-15 per person, though that depends on the number of people. First though, we need a few things from you! Please email Ale Diaz (adiaz [at] interchange.ubc.ca) with the following:

1. Will you be able to come? Please RSVP ASAP!
2. If you can come, are you able to drive to Mount Seymour (and how many people will fit in your car)?
3. Do you have snowshoes? More people bringing their own means a lower fee for all.
4. Any suggestions for a great, central-ish place to go afterwards!

Thanks so much for your time, hope you can make the snowshoe fun and until then Happy Holidays!
